Wind Farms are currently at the Mercy of Senate's Decision on Renewable Energy Tax Credit

The fate of Minnesota’s employment rate and the fate of renewable wind energy lies in the hand of a tax credit that may or may not be renewed this year.
This tax credit, established in 1992, offers a 2.2 cents per kilowatt hour credit for electricity created by wind turbines. It has been kept alive through a continuous set of one and two year extensions up until this year. It is set to expire at the end of this year and failed to be included in recently passed legislation.

Scientists Recently Mastered SolarWindow Technology for Mass Production

New Energy scientists have been hard at work removing the metal from solar conductors.
In Jan. 2010, New Energy released a spray on solar adhesive that, when applied to glass, would harvest solar and artificial lights. This technology was made available by the reduction of the size of a solar cell to less than 1/1000th the thickness of human hair and the use of environmentally-friendly compounds in place of metal components.
